- Orders for further machines received
- Highly promising projects under negotiation
Kahl am Main, September 08, 2010 - SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES (SINGULUS) reports that it has received further orders for SINGULAR inline coating systems. The new orders have been placed by customers from China. More highly promising projects are in preparation. SINGULUS will already be shipping one of these SINGULAR machines during the course of September. The coating systems are used both for processes in the manufacturing of silicon solar cells and for refining new solar concepts. The modular concept perfectly accommodates entirely new coating processes thanks to its high versatility.
SINGULUS has already successfully installed its first inline coating system for the application of anti-reflective coatings to silicon solar cells. The cells coated by the SINGULAR plant as part of the production process achieve excellent efficiency ratings. The installation and commissioning of the first front-end system, in other words of an integrated manufacturing concept comprising wet-chemical plants of the type LINEA from SINGULUS STANGL SOLAR and a combined SINGULUS and STANGL manufacturing station for silicon solar cells, is another example. It marks important progress in systems integration for automated, lower-cost, modern cell manufacturing.
SINGULUS has thus taken an important step towards substantially strengthening its market position for production systems for solar cells.
